When the animals wake in the morning, the meadows shimmer in the first light and the mountains quietly watch over the farm, we feel what home truly means. It is the quiet moments, the familiar mooing, the rustling in the barn and the closeness to our animals that make this place so special. Here, trust, gratitude and a deep love for our home grow. A farm where people and animals belong together, and every day brings a little piece of happiness.

The People Behind the Farm

We, Kathrin & Christian, fill our farm with heart, passion, and a good sense of humor. Kathrin is the heart and soul of the farm. She grew up surrounded by animals, has a natural way with every living creature, and somehow manages to keep the household running alongside it all. Christian is a full-time farmer by calling. From the barn to the forest, he gets stuck in wherever he’s needed – always with a smile, but a rock when it really matters. Together, we are a strong team who love nature and are truly happy to share that joy with you!

In our farm garden, we grow what nature gives us – with plenty of love, time, and good old-fashioned handwork. Among fragrant herbs, colorful flowers, and fresh vegetables, you can still feel the little things that make life special. Here, we sow, nurture, harvest, and enjoy – honest, down-to-earth, and with all our hearts. A little piece of home that you can see, smell, and taste.

There is something new to discover on our farm every day. Among the barn, meadows, and pastures, our animal residents go about their daily lives and invite you to take the time to get to know them. Whether it’s curious looks from the barn, peaceful grazing in the pasture, or lively activity in the enclosures – our animals create special moments. Visitors of all ages are welcome to watch, ask questions, and discover the unique personalities of our animals. These encounters create memories that touch the heart and stay with you for a long time. Our farm is a place where love for animals, nature, and authentic farm life come together – a place to marvel, learn, and simply feel at home.

Our Farm in the Sarntal Valley – A Family Tradition, Love for Animals, and Authentic Farm Life Through the Generations

Since 1903, our farm has been shaped by hardship, solidarity, and new beginnings. Back then, a devastating fire reduced the farmhouse and farm buildings to flames – yet within just six months, everything was rebuilt. Over the decades, further fires, hailstorms, and difficult times put the farm to the test. Time and again, one thing became clear: when people stand together, new things can grow. In 2023, we had the privilege of taking over the farm and continuing its story. In 2024, we created our new home here, with plenty of love and warmth. In 2026, we are opening the doors of our holiday apartments to guests – inviting you to share a little piece of our home, our history, and our future with us.
